Our Story

First Responder Resiliency Coalition (FRRC) was initiated by the City of Cedar Hill as a grant-funded program serving 9 cities within the Dallas-Fort Worth Metroplex, the First Responder Resiliency Program (FRRP). When initial grant funding was capped following 4 years of a successful program, the City of Cedar Hill advocated for grant funding through Dallas Co which resulted in an additional $1 million brought to the metroplex for responder resiliency. In order to share the FRRP approach for building a culture of resiliency and peer support within an organization, FRRP is currently transitioning to a coalition model that seeks to make resiliency resources and education more affordable for first responder agencies within Texas.
